Person’s Day 2012
Join us at Liuna Station on Thursday, October 18th, 2012 from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. for our 5th Annual Person’s Day Breakfast. This exciting and thought provoking breakfast is a joint venture between the Zonta Clubs of Hamilton and YWCA Hamilton. The breakfast commemorates the landmark 1929 Persons case that guaranteed women the right to participate in all aspects of public life.
This year we explore the theme: Women’s Mentorship & Leadership with keynote speaker Kim Crosby. Crosby is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist, activist, consultant, facilitator and educator. She was named one of Canada’s 100 Young Changemakers and was recently recognized as a Cultural Champions by the City of Toronto. Crosby has delivered over 150 workshops around the world on race, gender, power, privilege, consent, creation, food and entrepreneurship.
We look forward to seeing you on October 18th!
